The Global Education Administrative Coordinator (Temporary Professional) provides administrative support for outreach, transcript processing, and front-line student advising for Global Education within the Office of Global Affairs.
- Assists with pre-event planning and logistical arrangements in collaboration with the Assistant/Associate Director of Global Education, including acting as an Office of Global Affairs representative for student outreach events.
- Assists the Office of Global Affairs Registrar with receipt, processing, and data entry of student transcripts from international partner institutions.
- Provides front-line generalist advising support as back-up to Global Education professional advising staff.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to organize work, exercise good judgement, complete tasks in a timely manner, collaborate, and perform routine supportive tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency in database management and capacity to learn industry-specific software.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- Typical office environment.
- Flexible work schedule, up to 37.5 hours per week.
- This is a temporary, non-benefited position.
