Job Description
The Management Department of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a tenure-track position in Strategic Management. The rank is at the level of Assistant Professor, with a start date set for September 2025.
Requirements
Candidates applying for this position should expect to have completed their doctoral degree in Strategic Management (or a closely related field) by August of 2025. Ideal candidates for the position will have an active program of research with a demonstrated ability for high quality scholarly publications. Candidates must have expertise or evident potential in providing quality teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels in both face to face and online formats. Potential or demonstrated ability to teach MBA students with considerable work experience is highly desirable. Initial teaching responsibilities will be focused on developing and delivering innovative instruction in strategic management, entrepreneurship, innovation, and/or international management at the undergraduate level.

The Management Department has a thriving undergraduate program and contributes to a highly reputed MBA program at the Isenberg School. In addition, the department offers a long-standing and high-quality Ph.D. program with separate tracks in Organization Studies and Strategic Management. Members of the Management faculty are committed to conducting research that furthers state-of-the-art knowledge in their respective areas of expertise.
