Clerk IV (RecWell) UMass Amherst
Assist in the day-to-day operations of Member Services and the Member Services Desk in the Recreation and Wellbeing (RecWell) Center. Oversee all point of sale (POS) operations, including cash and credit card sales, of all memberships and programming available to Recreation and Wellbeing members. Process and monitor daily revenue transactions, prepare daily deposits and credit card journal entries, and assist the Assistant Director for Marketing and Member Services with the reconciliation of RecWell revenue accounts. Oversee Member Services student staff, RecWell student payroll functions, including hiring, termination, and time reporting of approximately 450 -500 student employees.

Assistant Professor (TT) - Computer Engineering specializing in Artificial Intelligence Systems UMass Amherst
The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer Engineering specializing in Artificial Intelligence Systems. This position is part of a broader expansion in AI engineering in the college. The position is defined with broad scope that includes research related to developing, securing, or using AI chips and workloads, from edge devices to data centers. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, GPUs, FPGAs, custom accelerators, protecting model IP, hardware-enforced safeguards against misuse or adversarial inputs, trusted execution, securing supply chains for AI, robustness and explainability, safe and equitable human-in-the-loop decision systems, and other advanced hardware and software topics in computer engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a strong research program, teach existing courses in Computer Engineering, and develop creative new curricula in areas of their interest. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2026.

Trains kitchen staff as needed. May also be required to prepare more complex dishes to assist the Cook III.

Riccio Jr. College of Engineering.  This position oversees business, fiscal operations for academic, research, and outreach activities in the Riccio College of Engineering’s Dean’s Office.  The Director provides leadership, training and direct supervision of departmental personnel and participates in department policy development and implementation.
