The University of Massachusetts School of Law welcomes applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions to begin July 1, 2020. UMass Law, the Commonwealth’s only public law school, is committed to providing an excellent and affordable legal education and to improving the quality and reach of justice.
The successful candidates will likely teach Contracts in the law school’s first-year required curriculum, as well as courses in one or more of the following required or upper-level elective subjects: Property Law, Bankruptcy Law, Business Law, Environmental Law, Labor and Employment Law, Law and Technology, Secured Transactions, or Tax Law.
Minimum qualifications: Candidates must have a law degree, a strong academic record, and demonstrated potential to produce outstanding scholarship.
Preferred qualifications: Prior law teaching experience and published scholarship.
